Welcome to the Queensland bush with near 80 acres of coastal forest country that was home to the original Antimony mine. The machines have all fallen silent, and the only sounds are the abundant wildlife, including the occasional grunt from a sleepy Koala.

If you are looking for a place to escape the hustle of city life, enjoy the bush, ride dirt bikes, or birdwatch on the many bush tracks, then 85 Antimony Road is just for you.
For almost 50 years, until the early 1900's, the underground was alive with the miners searching for the Antimony to harden lead. The poppet head is still erected over the mineshaft and the crusher footings exist in the old shed. Even the the original camp shack is still in place.

What has been upgraded is the facilities. There is now a modern solar setup, complete with a self-start backup generator, and the bore has been re-equipped with a new solar submersible pump. The laundry and plumbing has been re-established and will suit the weekend warrior. You won't go cold either with plenty of firewood around the hillsides.
