About Neil Sweeney
Neil has managed retail store sites in many locations both Franchise and Company owned. He has experience in all levels of store operations in many different cities, being transferred as required to different sites.
Neil has extensive management and sales experience. He began as a salesperson and had progressed to 2IC and then Manager also with a stint as car audio fitter. He was involved in the operation of both franchise and corporate business, setting up new sites, as well as operation of existing sites, working with head office during store setup and continuously to ensure franchise standards were met.
Most recently Neil was a Commercial Property Manager and Leasing officer with a local franchise of a national group. This involved all aspects of Commercial Property Management and Leasing.
He conducted Property appraisals and obtained Property listings. He was involved in the promotion of properties for owners. His skills include showing of the property, and then negotiating leases. This also included obtaining security deposits and initial rent deposits . Also many times overseeing building modifications to owner and tenant satisfaction. Ongoing repairs and maintenance with on site consultation with the trades-people and then communicating with the owners is also an important requirement. Collection of rent and arrears control also an important part of the system . Then as required, renewing leases or re-letting of vacant properties.
