An excellent opportunity to acquire an established tourism and passenger transport business operating throughout the highly regarded Margaret River Region.

Established in 2016, Bus About Margaret River Region has built a strong reputation providing private wine and brewery tours, scenic tours, group transport, lunch and dinner transfers, wedding-related transport, corporate functions, school excursions and customised private charters.

The business currently generates approximately $145,000 in annual turnover, while the owner averages only around 22 hours per week across driving, cleaning, administration and general business duties.

A major strength is the established online presence, with approximately 80% of enquiries generated through the website. The business also benefits from 125+ five-star Google reviews, approximately 40 TripAdvisor reviews, repeat customers and established referral relationships with accommodation providers, local businesses and tourism operators.

The sale includes three owned buses, approximately 12, 14 and 21 seats, plus a luggage trailer. The fleet has a combined insured value of approximately $125,000.

There is approximately 35 forward bookings with around $7,000 in deposits received, further demonstrating existing demand.

The current owner has deliberately operated the business at a manageable lifestyle level rather than maximising growth. This creates genuine scope for an energetic new owner or couple to increase fleet utilisation, accept more short transfers, operate multiple vehicles simultaneously and pursue further work across weddings, corporate transport, tours and group bookings.

Existing booking systems and digital infrastructure provide a strong platform for further expansion.

This opportunity would particularly suit a couple looking to relocate to the Margaret River Region, an existing local operator, or a tourism/transport business seeking an established presence in one of Western Australia’s best-known visitor destinations.

After approximately 10 years building the business, the owner is now looking to scale back and spend more time with family.
