These soil types have proved to be highly productive for livestock breeding, finishing and sustain a strong carry capacity. This style of land is also regarded as being healthy from the livestock perspective. Pastures are subclover based with annual grasses being typical of the district.
Trees include Red Gum, Blue Gum and Hill Gum which are in ideal proportion offering excellent shade and shelter.
