Situation: 50 kms south of Hughenden on the Muttaburra Road. Then 16 kms to the homestead.
Description: Open undulating black clay self-mulching soils interspersed with three sweet, north south running, pebble stone ridges. The country is prominently grassed with Curley and Weeping Mitchell grass with seasonal Flinders grass and smaller stands of Buffel grass on the creek lines and ridges. This wet season has bought a huge variety of summer grasses and herbages. Very lightly timbered comprising Coolabah, along creek lines, Whitewood, Mimosa shrubs and other tree species scattered through the landscape.
