About the Logan and Redlands region
This Queensland region is centrally located, with Brisbane to its north, Ipswich and the Scenic Rim to its west, and the Gold Coast to its south. It has a number of infrastructure corridors, providing residents and local businesses with easy access to the Port of Brisbane and airports in Toowoomba, Brisbane and Gold Coast Airports.
The Logan and Redlands region is made up of a diverse range of landscapes, from high-density city living to rainforests, industrial precincts to villages and rural hinterland, and everything in between.
The region is the traditional home of the Kombumerri, Ngaraghwal, Mununjali, Wangerriburra, Quandamooka, Yuggera and Ugarapul people.

What: This festival invites visitors from the Logan and Redlands region and beyond to appreciate and engage with the ongoing culture of the Nughi, Nunukul and Goenpul clans of Quandamooka. Events on offer include cultural tours of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), art exhibitions and workshops, traditional song, dance and tucker, music, Black History month events, markets, Quandamooka land & sea discovery days (including whale watching) and much more. With so much available, you're sure to find something to enthral you at this festival.

What: This Logan festival only ran for the first time in 2020, but it has already made a splash on the Logan event calendar. Visitors are invited to mingle with chilli artisans and vendors in the city's Hellfire Alley, sampling delicious chilli products and discovering new taste sensations. The festival also includes a full program of activities, including a dress-up contest, kids activities, and a number of exciting chilli challenges.

What: Island Vibe is a rich cultural celebration, featuring art exhibitions, interactive workshops, craft markets, eco-friendly food and drink and even a circus. The focal point of the event is its 80+ reggae, roots, soul and electronic music acts, including Indigenous and Pacific Islander dance and cultural groups, held over four stages throughout the weekend.
