“Mountview” has a gently undulating contour which provides for versatile soil types comprising of sandy loams on bank country running on to heavier black clay loams with isolated areas of sandy banks and some red gravel in isolated areas. “Mountview” drains to the south east via a tree lined seasonal creek (White gums and Mallee gums).
“Meeks” again has versatile soil types with heavy black ground on the southern end with loamy country in the middle and black sand on the northern 40 acre paddock.
