The West & South Gippsland region of Victoria comprises the east and south-east outskirts of Melbourne, with Bairnsdale in the far east of the region. The south of region includes the magnificent Wilsons Promontory National Park.  Affectionately known as 'The Prom', it is one of the state's most-loved parks. To the north of the region you have the winter ski resort of Mount Baw Baw.
