This region of South Australia is located approximately 60 km north-east of the city of Adelaide, full of rolling hills and stunning vineyards. It is home to the key townships of Tanunda, Angaston and Nurioopta, although the region is primarily rural in nature.
The Barossa Valley (located within the broader Barossa region) is widely considered to be Australia’s oldest and most famous wine region.
The traditional owners of the land on which the Barossa region now stand are the Ngadjuri, Peramangk and Kaurna people.

The festival runs for five days and celebrates everything that is best about life in Barossa, including the outstanding food and wine of the region, its close-knit community, and its cultural heritage.

Event organisers donate a portion of the profits to Australian charities, giving back to the community.

What: The Kalleske winery opens its doors (and green spaces) to the public for this intimate event. Visitors are invited to enjoy delicious Kalleske wines, local cuisine, and soothing classical music from one of the owners of the vineyard, Amber Kalleske. For non-wine drinkers, craft beers from the region will be on offer, and there are food and drink options along with plenty of outdoor games available for the kids.
